Want to volunteer? With offices in Cambridge, Kitchener and Guelph, John Howard Society of Waterloo-Wellington is able to offer many different volunteering opportunities.  Positions are available in office support and in our various programs.    Many of the folks who work in our offices today started out as volunteers.

An application package will be sent to you.  Once the completed package has been returned to our office, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you in person to further discuss your interests and skills.    If there is a match with the current needs of the organization, you will be provided with a comprehensive orientation to the programs, mission and values of the John Howard Society along with program specific training.

Please note the agency requires a police records check and requests a minimum 1 year commitment.

Employment Opportunities

Employment opportunities arise from time to time.  All applicants must have a minimum B.A. in the social sciences.  Related work experience is an asset.
